This edition uses no advertising trackers, audience analytics, accounts, checkout, uploads, or contact form. It sets no cookies. Interactive controls run in your browser and are not submitted to this site. Hosting providers may process ordinary request logs for delivery and security. If you choose the email link, your email provider and the recipient's provider process that message under their own terms.

Accessibility

The site is designed for keyboard use, visible focus, reduced-motion preferences, text resizing, and small screens. If a barrier prevents access, describe it by email and include the page and device when practical.

Scope and limitations

Kanji Noir is a developing independent visual and language series. It does not claim formal instruction, dictionary authority, translation certification, publication history, products, or commissioned work.

Sources and corrections

Readings, meanings, historical forms, and usage must be checked against reliable Japanese-language references. A visual interpretation is not a substitute for linguistic evidence.

Material may change as the present web edition develops. Send a concise correction with a primary source when possible.
